Neighbourhood Pizza Shop

Pizza joint operated by the team behind Chenin on Sukhumvit 31, the casual pizza shop offers lunch, dinner and signature ice slushy drinks. The perimeter of the previous restaurant was extended and the facade was renewed with a modern version of the typical local corrugated aluminium frame. The sliding glass panels can open up the corner of the space to extend the restaurant onto the courtyard. Existing kitchen appliances and grilling/frying stations were re-used, giving them a fresh envelop of white plaster counters with stainless steel tops. The rounded domes of two plastered pizza ovens take centre. The vibrant glossy floor and ‘passata - red’ upholstery cheer up the understated design of the interior. Bespoke chairs and tables from local Takian and Rubber plywood, which were developed for the Winebar, make a re-appearance and aesthetically connect the two venues.
